The SW-836B is a precision laser polyester swab with a laser-cut knitted polyester fiber head whose edge profile and internal fiber arrangement are controlled by CO₂ laser processing rather than mechanical die-cutting or scissors trimming — a manufacturing distinction that directly determines the contamination risk the swab presents at the point of use. When polyester fabric is cut mechanically, the shearing action fractures fibers at the cut edge, leaving broken fiber ends that shed particles during cleaning contact. Laser cutting vaporizes the polyester along the cut line and simultaneously seals the edge through localized thermal fusion, producing a sealed, fray-free perimeter from which no loose fibers can release — even under the lateral scrubbing forces applied in precision component cleaning tasks.

The swab head measures 12mm in length, 3.7mm in width, and 3.2mm in thickness.
