The SW-822B is a high-absorption polyester swab with a pointed knitted polyester fiber head engineered for precision cleaning and solvent application tasks where rapid, controlled liquid uptake is the primary performance requirement. The swab head is constructed from high-quality polyester fiber woven to produce a dense, non-abrasive contact surface that absorbs liquids — including water-based cleaning agents, IPA, chemical solvents, grease, and residue-laden solutions — quickly and locks them within the fiber matrix during the wiping stroke, rather than releasing absorbed material back onto the cleaned surface under pressure.

The swab head measures 11.5mm in length, 3.3mm in width, and 3.3mm in thickness, forming a pointed tip profile well suited to accessing narrow component slots, connector pin gaps, electronic component lead rows, and small-bore instrument openings where flat or wide-head swabs make incomplete contact. The 3.3mm square cross-section behind the pointed tip provides sufficient fiber volume to hold a meaningful liquid load per pass, balancing the precision access of a narrow tip with the absorption capacity needed for tasks involving moderate to heavy residue removal.
